THE WHITE-BRISTLED TRIO

The oval No.217 blends edges, the tiny No.219 reaches smaller areas, and the flatter No.239 places colour on the lid. These three white goat-hair shapes form the lighter-bristled part of the set.

The complete set also includes black-bristled No.224 and brown angled No.275.

No.275 has a sloped brown pony-hair head for controlled eye and nose shading. No.224 adds a larger dark blending shape; all five use blue wooden handles and polished aluminium ferrules.

How to use

Pick up a little powder and tap off excess. Place colour with a flatter shape, blend with light circular or sweeping movements, and use a small or angled head to refine the edges. Keep pressure light near the eyes.

How to clean

Clean gently with a mild brush cleanser and lukewarm water. Avoid soaking the ferrule or wooden handle, and do not twist or pull the bristles.

How to dry and store

Reshape the damp head and allow it to air-dry flat with the bristles clear of the surface. Keep away from direct heat and store only when fully dry.
